Works: Memory like water will always find its way

Wading ankle deep in a shallow stream, memories and the notion of horror attached to the Sublime

This body of work references Rembrandt’s painting A woman bathing 1654, and the Sublime. Laura sets her personal experience in the wider context of cultural anxiety. The narrative talks of the chaos and violence of the natural world; landscape that is flooded, ecological disaster on a human scale.
